Teletalk Internet Settings
Teletalk is the only govt-owned telecommunication service provider in Bangladesh. If you are using any Teletalk sim in any of your smartphones or tablets or any other phones, you might need this information to configure your handset with correct Teletalk Internet Settings.
There are three different ways you can configure your handset and we will discuss them here.
Automatic Settings
This is applicable in two cases. Either if you are a new user of Teletalk or you are switching sim card to another handset, you can get internet settings in this process.
- If you are a new user and insert a Teletalk sim card into your handset for the first time, you will be prompted with Teletalk Internet Settings. Just save the settings and you are good to go.
- In case of switching the handset, you will also be prompted with the internet settings. If you again go back to the previous handset, you will again receive the internet settings and you can just save it to configure your handset. This will continue to happen each time you switch between handsets.
Teletalk Internet Settings Through SMS
You can also get Teletalk Internet Settings by SMS and the SMS format will be shown here so that you can easily configure your handset.
- Go to your mobile phone’s message option.
- Type Set and Send it to 738.
- You will receive the Internet and MMS settings one after another.
- Save the both settings with password 1234.

For iPhone Internet
Go to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network > Put APN: WAP
MMS
In the same menu, put the following values.
- APN: MMS
- MMSC: http://10.5.4.22:38090/was
- MMS proxy: 10.5.4.40:8080
- MMS Max. Message Size: 100000
For iPad Internet
- From the main screen of iPad, press Settings
- Cellular data network (make Cellular data ON)
- APN Settings
- Put WAP in APN field
- Keep username and password blank.
Android Devices Internet
Go to Internet Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > Add a new APN
- Name: TT-INTERNET
- APN: WAP
- Keep user name, password and proxy blank.
MMS
- In the same menu, add another APN
- Name: TT-MMS
- APN: MMS
- MMSC: http://10.5.4.22:38090/was
- MMS proxy: 10.5.4.40
- MMS port: 8080
- APN type: MMS
Windows 7.5 and 8 (Nokia Lumia and others)

- Go to Mobile network > Edit APN
- Put APN: WAP
